Brad Maylett Signed a 2 year contract with the Swans last summer following a loan spell the previous season. Started with a hat trick on the opening day, followed by a dazzling performance at Bristol City which was marred by his sending off. A few more powerful games before he was struck down with a knee injury that kept him on the sidelines for a couple of months. Took a while to return to his early season form, but on his day possesses electrifying pace that terrorises defenders and an eye for goal. 2003/2004
Despite playing over 50 games for Burnley, Brad was offered to the Swans on loan at the end of last season to provide some width on the right. A pacy player, capable of beating a man, then putting in a decent cross at the end of it, he started off quietly, but improved, game by game. Brian Flynn expressed his interest during the close season, and Brad showed little hesitation in joining the Swans, when Burnley boss Stan Ternant agreed to release him on a free transfer. Hopefully, Brad can continue to improve in the forthcoming season.
