From: Ceri Thomas - Swansea - Sunday, April 29 Re: Stuart Roberts |
|
I have just read Peter and Bethan's Match Report and refer
to the "symbolic offering" of a shirt by Stu. I listened to Swansea
Sound on Saturday and caught Anthony O'Connel's interview with Stu
after the game (Hollins apparently left the ground b4 reporters got
near - also symbolic?).
Stu explained that the shirt was "to make at least one fan happy today as they haven't that much to cheer this season." As for his own future he explained that he has never wanted to leave Swansea and hopes to sit down this week to sign a new contract. The only worry I see here is what the Swans will offer him, bearing in mind the recent Steve Jones contract talks. I would like to wish Steve Jones the best of luck with his new club whoever they may be as he definitely deserved a good contract offer. With only 2 full backs on the books supporters are wholly justified to question the management on this issue. |

From: Miss Russell - Swansea - Sunday, April 29 Re: Hollins |
| I am fed up of people saying that the only genuin fans are the ones that want Hollins out.I do not want him out and I am not a thug.I was at oxford, and it might of been a thug that ripped the Hollins out sign but whoever payed good money to have that sign printed was just wasting they're money. You can't blame Hollins for our perfformance after all.Was he playing? |

From: pugwash - aboard the black pig - Sunday, April 29 Re: hollins |
| So it appears our beloved half crazed leader has his own fan club, the nazis, well no wonder the man thinks everything he does is right, all nazis think that way. I will bet that next season if there are no changes at the Vetch in management, coachs players or owners either Oxford or our own Adolf Hollins and red shirted back side kissers will be relegated, if we dont go into recievership first.Whats the guess on tuesdays crowd 1500 ? |

From: Dan - Kidderminster - Sunday, April 29 Re: Up the Swans |
| Well Hi Hi Hi all you beautiful Welsh people, I just thought it would be nice to inform you that I have recently become a massive Swansea City supporter and truly admire the style, performance and talent of all the fans and players, especially when compared to my own home team Kiddie Harriers. I have met a big Swans fan Mr. David Hammercott on a few occasions and although he gets battered now and again by his girlfriend, he is more of a man than I could ever wish to be, (some of his Jack mates are a bit dodgy though!!) Well I must get back to those spuds - they won't peel themselves you know!!! by didly I for now my little Chumley Warners, Dan XX |

From: KEV/PONTAMMAN - HOME - Sunday, April 29 Re: HOLLINS VANISHES |
| Reading the sports section of Wales on Sunday this morning the headline reads SWANS BOSS HOLLINS VANISHES....Oh,if only it were true!.. Has he resigned? I really hope so. Although a more feasible explanation when he turns up again is likely to be that OUR GLORIOUS LEADER was actually kidnapped by the little men who provide the inspirational thoughts in his head ("Its the voices CURT,it's the voices") and taken to the planet FERTANGGTHWACK in their spaceship where he was beaten around the head with a wet HADDOCK and had his ears filled with SMARTIES to stimulate his THOUGHT PROCESS for the end of this season and the next.I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE UPBEAT TWADDLE...CAN YOU? |

From: j.m.b. - swansea - Sunday, April 29 Re: karl uzzells page |
|
I've just been checking out the links to other Swans site on
this page. Most are good, but arl Uzzells page seems to be a link for
neanderthal hooligans from all clubs to reminice about getting the
s*** kicked out of them (maybe not such a bad thing). We have a
growing problem at the club of people with the I.Q.'s of root
vegetables using our bloodied but proud club as an excuse for racism
and violence. I don't know how often you check these links out Gary,
but I think you should consider removing it from you're excellent
site.
Thanks for the tip off - one of many received today - GM |

From: Northbank Jack - SWANSEA - Sunday, April 29 Re: NEXT SEASON |
| I have posted messages on here before regarding last season's efforts in winning Div3,well i will say it again,we won a poor league with a poor team, and had we been in that division this term we would struggle to be in mid-table.so this dosnt bode very well for next season does it?the likes of Romo,Savarese the two french lads,Boyd,Price and Roberts will all be departing during the next few months,so that leaves us with a small squad that would struggle in the LOW,also with a manager that clearly doesnt care about the club or its fans,no buyers for us on the horizon and we are reportedly losing 25k a week, well i urge all swans fans to get down the Vetch for next weeks final game and say goodbye to some of the lads, stick two fingers up at Hollins and Liability, and take a long look around our beloved Vetch, because unless things change very soon i fear we will be in administration in the next few weeks,Mclure should cut the wage bill for a start, get rid of Liability(saving 80 k a year and a mortgage)and Hollins, put Curtis and Cusak in charge of the team and get some money back into the club,i never thought i would say this but COME BACK DOUGIE ALL IS FORGIVEN.Would the last one out please turn the light off. |

From: P Rogers - Relegated - Sunday, April 29 Re: After Oxford!!!! |
|
After witnessing another poor performance at Oxford
yesterday this season must go down as one of the worst ever in recent
times. And after the game summed it up,the last away game of the season
and most players and management just trundled off to the dressing
rooms not giving a shit for the fans who have probably spent hundreds
of pounds throughout the season following dismal performances all over
the country.Well done to Stuart Roberts and some of the other players
who did acknowledge the fans.
I dread to think what is going to happen during the summer months.A chairman who does not give a shit about the club,a manager who has clearly lost the plot on occasions, both in his tactics and team selections this season. And some of his comments on the radio and in the press over the last few months have been beyond a joke to say the least. If any take over does not happen over the summer months, which seems unlikely anyway and Hollins is never going to walk away from his contract,i hope he takes a good look at himself in what has happened this season, and admits he has been naive at times and comes back a better manager next season. He needs to get the respect back of the fans.I know we won the championship last season, but lets face it that it was a poor division anyway and our defence won it for us. Next season is now absolutely vital for the Swans to get promoted again and i hope somebody with money comes in during the summer to lift the doom and gloom from the club.SWANSEA CITY AFC DIV 3 CHAMPIONS 2001/02,i love it!!!!!! |

From: Carl / Evesham Jack - Worcs - Sunday, April 29 Re: Hollins out / get lost nazi jacks |
|
I was pleased to see the Hollins out banner at Oxford,
everyone around me agreed with it, I would say only a small handfull
now support the mad man. And I was even more pleased to see the small
handfull of nazi thugs that follow our club disagree with it. For
that means they are not like me, they don't think like me nor do they
act like me. And for me, that is good enough.
Lewis - What are you going to do when there are only a few nazis and a few hangers on to pay your wages, for in the summer the club will be in receivership, and whose fault will that be Mr eighty grand a year, a jag and a house man ? Am I right in assuming that the administrators will sack the manager and Lewis because they can't aford them ? Sounds good to me for a new start. You only have nazi fools supporting you Hollins, Lewis and Mcclure. Oh how pleased you must be. Hollins out ! |
