Re: York City
I was disapointed by todays performance! I really think that some of our players are out of their depth......... Lee Jenkins u21 international.unbelievable.... I do not want to be too critical of Cusack.but perhaps it would have been better if he played Sweeper today and pushed Moss up front with young Keavney.

One question that always amazes me . at goal Kicks Why do we get 20 Players in the centre circle especially on goal kick side of the field. if you were coaching 10 year old you would tell them to spread out......... Can anyone answer this question?

Re: Is this any way to run a business
My day: I am starving - shall I get something in the ground? No - last time I bought food there is was so vile I nearly threw up. I buy a baguette in the Market. Loss to Swans - £3 (if this comes up as a dollar - I cannot find a Pound Sterling sign) - say this is duplicated by 1000 people - loss to Swans £3,000. I have been trying to purchase a polo shirt with a Swans logo since pre-season - I go into the club shop - it is virtually bare - like a closing down sale. No sizes larger than 36. I do genuinely wish I could get into a 36, but I never will again, and judging by most people around me on the NB, the same may be true for them. The charming sales assistant tells me that there is only what is hanging up and she doesn't know when larger sizes will come in. Loss to the Swans £20. Say 100 people experienced the same - loss to the Swans £2,000. Anyway - the new home top is so scratchy and uncomfortable, I am not sure I really want anything else to wear from the same range. The last good quality comfortable shirt was

Finally - only 4,000 in ground, compared with 6,200 on first day, Due to poor results and cr^p performances, with lame excuses, that the next game will be better, and no action to remedy the situation. Loss to the Swans, £22,000.

Total loss to Swans in one day: Pounds 31,000.

Re: Tony and Swansworld
Tony Can I ask what exactly are your issues with Swansworld? I have seen a few barbed comments below and having respected the majority of your opinions in the past, I am keen to know what your beef is with them?

They are not charging for an existing service or anything (like when Sky took football from terrestial television and made us pay for it!).

As Dai has already said forgetting copyright issues its a time consuming activity to record clips and make them downloadable. So as far as I can see its understandable that PTV are charging for the service.

Anyway I look forward to your response so at least myself and others can understand what has got you worked up. TA

See Tony's Across the Pond from 2 weeks back. He explains FULLY what his issues with it are.

Re: How good (bad) are we?
This may put the cat amongst the pigeons, but since i am unable to see the swans play, i have to take the reactions and results at face value. Just how good is the first team? we are now fourth from bottom (above Molby's Hull no less!) but looking at the results, without Thomas, Wood and probably Moss it seems as if this team would sink faster than a ginsters in a Molby v doug sharpe pie eating competition!

Am i right? if not, please let me know, as the view from afar is not good... eg one day theobald is the best centreback then the worst.... where is it going wrong???????

I know this is super pessimistic, but im not feeling very confident, when the team is missing the 3 players above....

ps on my last visit to Swansea, why is it every sport shop still displays about 50 Man utd shirts???? where i live, fortunately, this is Arsenal country, and it is reasurring to see an O2 rather than Vofafone shirt!!! just a personal gripe.

Re: Nicholas Fabiano
I personally felt that out of the 2 PSG players we signed (Verchave and Fabiano), it was the latter who was blessed with the most promise of a successful career. I felt he was a lot like our own stu roberts down the wing. He may not have tackled and been lightweight, but with the ball at his feet he was a skillful and exciting player easily capable of beating his man and getting to the by-line. Enjoyed seeing him attack the West Stand as i stood on the North Bank - didnt think we utilised him enough though. If you get bored of him, send him and his suitcase down to us, ill pay the travel expenses.

Re: Nicholas Fabiano
Fabiano?

A chronic underachiever. Can't remember seeing him tackle. Poor distribution of the ball. Lacked pace. Generally lightweight.

A good signing then...
