Jordi Gómez
Jordi is a play-making midfielder with a cultured left foot. Along with Guillem Bauza, Gomez is the second player signed from Espanyol by Roberto Martinez. He is also the second player to have previously played for Spanish giants Barcelona along with Andrea Orlandi, whose girlfriend is the sister of Jordi's partner.
Martinez, who has been following the 22 year old for the past two seasons, has said that he possesses great control, technical ability, and never gives the ball away. He is also a clinical finisher around the box scoring 10 goals from midfield for the Espanyol B side last season.
The Swans have signed Gomez in a loan deal package worth nearly £200,000, after fighting off competition from three La Liga clubs.
