David Smith
The 34-year-old has agreed a 12-month deal with the Swans after being released following four years at Blundell Park. Smith began his career at Coventry, making 10 appearances for England under-21s, before moving on to Birmingham and West Brom.
He joined Grimsby for £200,000 in 1998 and has totalled over 400 league appearances during his career.
Experienced left-sided player formerly at Coventry, Birmingham, West Brom and Grimsby, 'Smudger' is equally at home at left back. Always reliable and hard working.
